Human Resources Generalist

Description:Perform moderately complex activities in support of the personnel/human resources department at the professional level. Will assist the HR Director in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
Duties:Perform specified human resource programs and services, including benefits and payroll
Assist with enforcing policies by ensuring required standards are met
Coordinates internal projects related to personnel
Develops and maintains files and documentation as it relates to state, federal and bank requirements
Ensures programs are well organized & standards are met
Perform new employee orientations and collect required documentation
Communicates and works with employees with specific functions
Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a closely related field
A valid Oregon Driver's license
Operating knowledge of employment law
The ability to carry out project assignments
Ability to understand and integrate Siuslaw's goals into Human Resources services, programs and products
Familiar with PC applications, such as spreadsheets, graphic and technical writing skills
Excellent communication skills
Able to build effective relationships with employees, the public and other organizations
Demonstrates the ability to skillfully deal with conflict or work through difficult situations
Ability to analyze and problem solve
A minimum of 3 years experience in the HR field
